We deliver our cakes in our own refrigerated vehicle to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.

On the webshop, you can order delivery within 50 km of Amagerfælledvej 162.

The delivery cost for webshop orders ranges from 150–1020 DKK depending on the distance.

We also offer delivery over longer distances or to multiple addresses on the same route, for example for large corporate orders. You can send an email to orders@bakemydaydk.com to receive a quote for special delivery.

We can also deliver to Fyn & Jylland.

However, since the cakes are delivered in a refrigerated vehicle that only delivers one order at a time, and drives for hours and across bridges, it can be expensive.

We have had many customers who have still chosen this option, and are happy to pay the price to have the cake delivered.

Unless we have agreed on a specific time, or if you have not specified a particular time when ordering online, the order will always be ready before we open on the day.

You can therefore pick it up anytime within our opening hours on the day.

The order deadline depends on what you wish to order.

Mini Cakes

We offer ready-made mini cakes for approximately 6 people. Therefore, there is no order deadline, and you can simply drop by one of our cafés. The selection varies. To inquire about which cakes we have on the day, you can contact our cafés by phone (see phnumbers at the bottom of the page).

Webshop Orders

Our most popular cakes can be ordered directly via the webshop, so there is no waiting time for replies, etc. The order deadline for these varies from one to seven days, depending on the item you want. Most simple and small orders can be accommodated at short notice.

Custom Cakes (20+)

Custom cakes, or special designed cakes - including wedding cakes, can be ordered via emailorders@bakemydaydk.com. First, you send us an inquiry about the cake you want, then you receive an offer, you can then accept the offer or request changes, and once the offer is accepted, we send you an invoice. The dialogue can take some time, so it is better to plan well in advance so that we are not rushed. We recommend contacting us with 2-4 weeks' notice.

Company Cakes

Most company cakes can be ordered directly via the webshop, at short notice (1-3 days). If you want a special designed company cake, the same information applies as for custom cakes, and it is recommended to contact us a couple of weeks in advance, especially if it is a large order.

Cupcakes, Cake Tapas, and Macarons
Can be ordered with 1 day's notice, but we appreciate longer notice so we can better plan our work.

It is not possible to change the design of our standard cakes. If you have specific requests for a cake, you can order a special designed cake. Please note that our minimum order for custom-designed cakes is 20 servings.

We are primarily a cake shop, but we offer a simple breakfast menu. You can order:
- Bun with cheese
- Breakfast plate

Both options include freshly baked sourdough bread from our partner who specialises in bread, and aged Havarti cheese. The breakfast plate also includes butter, jam, an egg, and a bowl of skyr with granola.

Of course! You are more than welcome to visit our shop and buy treats without ordering in advance.

We always have a selection of cookies, cupcakes, etc. in our two shops.

We also have mini cakes available in the shop. If you want to reserve a mini cake, please call the shop the day before (not earlier), and we will gladly reserve from the selection we have each time. Tel. 91961802

We offer a rotating menu of delicious cupcakes, cookies, and other treats in our cafés. If you’d like to see the current selection of flavors, you can view our café menu here.

You are also very welcome to contact our café, where our staff will be happy to inform you about the available flavor options.

Yes, at DR Byen we have a cafe with plenty of seating, and you are more than welcome to visit. At Fisketorvet, we share seating with the other food stalls, which you are welcome to use.

If you are 6 or more people and wish to visit the cafe at DR Byen, you are welcome to reserve a table in the same week by calling us on 91 96 18 02, then we can ensure that a table is ready and we can prepare the treats in advance.

We recommend starting the ordering process for special designed cakes a couple of weeks before the order needs to be ready. This allows plenty of time for both you and us to sort everything out. Large orders and wedding cakes that require additional planning should ideally be arranged at least a month before the event, so everyone can relax.

Webshop orders have an ordering deadline of 1-7 days, depending on the item.

If you order late, you risk us not having enough time for our collaboration and the desired look. This could lead to unnecessary difficulties or miscommunication.

However, we always want to do our best to accommodate your order if we have the capacity.

We ask you not to come to the shop without a prior appointment with us. We want to be able to give you our full and professional attention during the meeting, otherwise we might be too busy, and there might only be one barista present who cannot answer your questions about special designed cakes.

Unfortunately not.

We are unable to create special designed cakes for fewer than 20 servings. However, you can find the standard cakes we offer for smaller servings here.

Yes, you can.

However, as the cake gets larger, it also becomes more complicated to produce and handle.

We receive many inquiries about ordering large cakes, but they are rarely ordered because people believe it will be much cheaper than it actually is. Secondly, if the cake has more than 4 tiers or is wider than 60 cm, it requires two professionals to come to your location to set up the cake. Therefore, there will be an additional charge for this service.
