Shipping policy
Delivery
We offer delivery of pre-ordered cakes, cupcakes and other products by agreement. Delivery must be selected and confirmed when placing the order, and the delivery price depends on the delivery address, distance and time.
Delivery Time
The delivery time is always provided as an estimated delivery interval. We do our best to deliver within the agreed time frame, but delays may occur due to traffic, roadworks, accidents, weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control.
Bake My Day can therefore not be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances that we are unable to control. Any such delays do not entitle the customer to compensation, refund or cancellation of the order.
Receiving the Delivery
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that someone is present at the delivery address during the agreed delivery interval. The person receiving the order must be able to accept the products and store them correctly immediately after delivery.
If our driver is unable to contact the recipient, or if there is no access to the address, we will attempt to contact the customer using the phone number provided. If the delivery cannot be completed due to lack of access, an incorrect address or lack of contact, the order will still be considered delivered/attempted delivered, and no refund will be given.
Correct Information
The customer is responsible for providing the correct delivery address, phone number, contact person’s name and any relevant delivery instructions, including floor number, door code, reception, gate, goods reception or similar information.
Bake My Day is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
Storage After Delivery
After delivery, responsibility for the products passes to the customer. Cakes, cupcakes and other perishable products must be stored correctly.
Bake My Day cannot be held responsible for damage, melting, drying out or deterioration in quality that occurs after delivery as a result of incorrect storage, handling or transport.
Changes to Delivery
Changes to the delivery address, delivery time or contact information must be communicated as soon as possible. We will always try to accommodate changes, but we cannot guarantee that changes can be made, especially at short notice.
Pick-Up
If an order has been agreed for pick-up, the customer is responsible for collecting the order at the agreed time and location. When collecting an order, responsibility for the order passes to the customer as soon as the products have been handed over.
