June 17th in Tivoli, Copenhagen
This Tuesday, June 17th, it's time once again to celebrate Iceland's National Day in Tivoli – and we're so excited to be a part of it for the fourth year in a row! 🎉
Tivoli will be decorated with Icelandic pennants, creative knitting projects from all over the Nordics, and, of course, lots of music, workshops, and market atmosphere. The day is filled with activities, concerts, and community – and we'll be ready to treat you to the best of Icelandic baking 🇮🇸💕
Last year, together with Tommi's Burger Joint, we served hundreds of happy people, and many of our cakes sold out long before closing time. So this year, we've prepared extra large portions – and of course, even more donuts and macarons with Icelandic candy 😍
Here's what we're bringing this year:
Ÿ¥¨ Icelandic Cheese Knots – our take on the classic Icelandic savory pastry 🇮🇸 Icelandic Snails – in the right size! Choose between caramel, chocolate, or Oreo 🍩 Donuts – with everything from cinnamon sugar and raspberry to pistachio, Oreo, and caramel 🍪 Filled Cookies – Biscoff, red velvet, or almond croissant-style 🥠 Luxury Macarons – with filling inspired by Icelandic candy 🍋 Fresh Lemonade – perfect for a summer day in Tivoli
Practical information:
Ÿ•š We open at 11 AM along with the rest of the market stalls in front of Plænen 🎶 At 3:45 PM, the official program begins with a speech from the Icelandic Ambassador 🎤 Music, workshops, and coziness continue late into the evening
It's going to be a day filled with taste, music, and Icelandic atmosphere – and you're invited, whether you're Icelandic or not! Come and experience one of the coziest days in Tivoli – and remember to come early if you want to secure one of our popular macarons before they're gone 😅
